It is music to get up. There is great playing on fast-paced show-stoppers as well as haunting airs.

If you like Irish-style flute and whistle -- and even if you don't -- you'll love this record. Phil Hardy displays his talent in this delicious recording. No voice, just his tunes and some excellent production.

Even if whistles are not your thing you'll find plenty to enjoy in this excellent compilation of previously-issued instrumentals by the man who not only plays the instrument with such skill, but also makes them for some of
the finest whistle players in the business .... what impressed me most about this album is the clever way that Phil Hardy tackles styles from other countries, in particular "Mrs Murphy's Camel" with its Arabic rhythms, the Australian feel to "The Magpies Tale, the lively tropical Kwela sound in "Paddy's Paradise" and the traditional Peruvian tune "Wainnu"
... this highly recommended collection.
