We're proud to be providing Tim with strings, capos and picks on his epic trip!
Musician Tim Moon will sing and play as he completes a nine-day 150-mile walk in aid of The Yorkshire Air Ambulance from Blackpool to Filey.
Tim, from Haworth, in West Yorkshire, will walk from Blackpool on the west coast to Scarborough and Filey on the east, pulling a small cart behind him.
At all times he will either be singing or playing a lightweight bouzouki, one of 100 instruments the talented musician plays.
Tim said: "It's something I've been planning for some time, but decided the only way to do it was to say, this is the dates, come what may. The Yorkshire Air Ambulance does amazing work and survives on donations, so I hope to raise a tidy sum for them.
He is hoping kind-hearted supporters will offer him bed and bath at the end of each day to help him keep costs down.
Tim, who has supported The Fairport Convention in his long career, will leave from Blackpool, outside the tower, on May 26 and travel to Mellor Brook via Kirkham and Preston.
From there, he heads to Burnley on May 27, and Skipton on May 28. On subsequent days he will travel to Harrogate, York, Malton, Scarborough and arrive in Filey on June 3.
