Just in on consignment is this lovely Selmer style guitar, in a left handed version.

Built about two years ago by Manouche Guitars, this is one of their Moreno signature models and comes with a Hiscox hardcase in a flashy white.

Endorsed by Moreno Winterstein, the noted Rom guitarist from Alsace this is a guitar worthy of a Gypsy legend. Moreno was mentored by the famous Paul "Tchan Tchou" Vidal, composer of the definitive valse "La Gitane". He later was noted for his partnership with Potzi, now of Paris Combo, and a mainstay of the Paris scene, and also for his hugely entertaining Winterstein Family band, with his wife Marina.

The guitar itself has Indian Rosewood back and sides, a Spruce top, and Ebony fingerboard, binding and bridge. The tuners and tailpiece are absolutely spot on replicas of the originals, with their Art-Deco flourishes.

All told a lovely guitar built with puro style. Michto!
