Started in1951, the Inter Varsity Folk Dance Festival (IVFDF) is the UK's longest continually-running folk festival, and among it’s best-loved. One of the unique features of the festival is it’s annual change of location, and this year IVFDF is coming to Nottingham for the first time since 1991.

Students and ‘students and students at heart’ can look forward to an ‘action-packed, folk-filled weekend extravaganza,’ of social dances, morris displays and workshops across the three festival venues of the Lee Westwood Sports Centre on the Clifton Campus of Nottingham Trent University, Highbank Community Centre in Clifton and Queen's Walk Community Centre in the Meadows.
