Beautiful sunshine and great music ensured that a good time was had by all during the 2009 Crawley Folk Festival. Over 3000 people came to the festival to enjoy headline acts such as Martin Carthy, The Bad Shepherds and Dave Swarbrick. The Hobgoblin Stage was very well attended, and those who stayed to the end on Saturday afternoon were treated to an exceptional solo performance by Dogan Mehmet on vocals, tenor guitar, stomp box, melodeon and more.
